Its setting reveals several chapters of the city’s past: remains of the ancient Themistoclean Wall lie within the foundations, while the small 16th-century chapel of Agia Dynami is preserved within the building’s footprint. The hotel has 216 rooms and suites, with selected categories overlooking the Acropolis. On the tenth floor, Metropolis Roof Garden serves creative Mediterranean cuisine and M Bar looks across the city skyline. An outdoor rooftop pool and an indoor spa provide space to unwind, while nearby Ermou Street and Plaka make shopping and exploration on foot easy.
