Your arrival is more than a time on a booking form. With live flight tracking connected to our booking system, we monitor your flight's progress and updated arrival time to help coordinate your pickup.
Simply enter your flight number when booking. If your flight is delayed, we can see the updated information and take it into account when planning your collection.
Once you land, collect your luggage and follow the pickup instructions. Your private transfer takes you directly to your hotel, apartment, port or any address in Athens and Attica — no queues, no haggling, no shared shuttles.
Meeting & pickup
Your assigned driver will contact you on WhatsApp with pickup instructions. After collecting your luggage, go to arrivals exit 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 and reply with your exit number.
Wait at the agreed meeting point in the outer pickup lane for pre-booked transfers. Your driver will approach once you confirm you are ready, usually within about two minutes, depending on traffic and access.
Useful information
Your flight number is required for airport pickup. Enter the flight arriving at Athens International Airport. If you have a connecting journey, use the final flight number into Athens.
Check that your flight number and arrival date are correct so we can track the right flight. Flight updates help us coordinate your pickup; please also let us know about a cancellation, a change to another flight or a delay after landing.
Greekaway provides the transfer only. The venue’s opening hours, operation or access may have changed without our knowledge — including temporary or permanent closure. Before booking your transfer, please confirm directly with the venue that it is open and accessible on the day and time of your visit. A transfer booking does not guarantee entry or a table.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation — full refund up to 2 hours before pickup.
50% refund between 2 hours and 15 minutes before pickup (50% retained).
No refund within 15 minutes of pickup.
Free cancellation while your booking is awaiting confirmation — your card is only charged after we confirm. Cash bookings: cancel free of charge at any time before pickup — no payment is made online. Full details in our Terms of Use.

What happens if my flight is delayed?
Our booking system is connected to live flight tracking. We monitor your flight's updated arrival information and use it to coordinate your pickup. You do not need to report every flight delay, but please contact us if you change flights or your flight is cancelled.
Why do I need to enter my flight number?
Your flight number allows us to identify your arriving flight and monitor its progress. This helps us plan your pickup around updated arrival information, rather than relying only on the original schedule.
How will I find my driver at the airport?
Your assigned driver will send you a WhatsApp message with pickup instructions. After collecting your luggage, head to any of the arrivals exits numbered 1–5 and reply with your exit number.
Your driver will then come to meet you in the outer pickup lane for pre-booked transfers, usually within about two minutes, depending on traffic and access.
What if baggage collection or passport control takes longer?
Please contact your driver or Greekaway to let us know. Flight tracking shows flight arrival updates, but it cannot tell us when you have collected your luggage and are ready to leave.
How can I make sure my driver can contact me?
Enter a phone number with the correct country code when booking, preferably one you use for WhatsApp. After landing, connect to the internet and check your messages.
Reply to your driver's message once you have collected your luggage and reached your chosen exit. If you cannot use WhatsApp, contact your driver or Greekaway by phone to coordinate the pickup.
